About Care Ministry Team

Equipping Staff Person:  Rev. Kelly Grimes
Meeting dates/Times:  Quarterly meetings held on the 3rd Sunday of the assigned month.
Time Commitment Required: Monthly time commitment varies throughout the year and with one’s task from 0-10 or more hours

The Care Ministry team, is committed to reaching out in love and care to our members, our attendees and any person who comes to our church.  We do this through prayer, through phone calls and visits, and through sending cards.

Team members gather prayer requests and send them out to the prayer list members for action.  Foundry staff have already seen the collected prayer request cards. Confidentiality is respected.
Information about those who desire phone calls or visits come from many sources and is shared in many ways.  These are primarily for those hospitalized or staying in other health facilities or recovering at home. The homebound of Foundry each have a care team member who gives their person special caring attention. Cards are sent out on behalf of Foundry and the care team.  We send cards to those who have suffered the death of a loved one and on the 1-year anniversary of that death, to those members and attendees newly married, to new members and to new parents, to those whose birthdays are 70 or more, and to those who are ill, hospitalized or in nursing care.
